I really don't know where to start putting photos up.

I've no intention of putting them up in any particular order. I just have too much and I'm not anal enough to remember all the dates, though I'm not bad at remembering where they were taken. I'll try and put up stuff that people haven't seen.

We're not close anymore (well, I'm superficially friendly and let's face it....so are they, when they want something), so I'm not going to tell any stories or anecdotes. I get a lot of mail asking why I hate Metallica.....I don't hate them. Lars and I were good friends a long time ago. We aren't anymore. Peter Mensch, the band's manager, asked me what I thought was the reason I don't work with them now.

I couldn't give him a specific answer, except for the fact I felt very let down by Lars as a friend. If I run into him, and I haven't for a long time, we would be civil. He would shake my hand and be looking over my shoulder to see who to move onto next, something which I hate.

Would I work for them again? Absolutely........If they paid me! They were a great band ten years ago. I have no idea what they are like now. But they have become everything they used to laugh at.

My Metallica book came in the post. If you like Metallica up to The Black Album then hopefully you'll like it. I've over-used the term "Don't Tread" and the caption for Kirk's birthday is wrong (it should be 1986). My favourite photo is one of Lars from Osaka Festival Hall - a rare one of Lars doing something for himself...
