I was in London this sunny Sunday morning and went to see the unveiling of a blue plaque for Keith Moon above the old Marquee Club. I got there just as it started and couldn't get near to Roger Daltrey as the street was packed, mostly with mods on scooters who booed the Mayor of Westminster, Louise Hyams, when she said something about motorbikes. Some of the mods were older than The Who and looked odd in this day and age.
