December and the weather is cold in London but kind of nice, blue sunny skies. I spent the weekend in the Fatherland with the Scorpions, you forget just how great live the Scorpions are. I ended Friday night Saturday morning with Rudolf Schenker in a restaurant eating oysters it was quite decadent in a funny way I had a great time.
Got up to a freezing sunny Saturday and took some photos of Berlin the Brandenburg Gate with the Four Horseman on top, The Russian War Memorial to the Russian dead in WWII. (There was a ceremony for the Unknown soldier Russian of course) and the tanks on a plinth were the first tanks into Berlin. I finished by shooting the gold statue from The Wings Of Desire. Flew into a sunny and cold London beautiful light over the green fields of the suburbs.
Sunday I went to the Reading Record Fair got one LP I've been after for ages, Blue Memphis by Memphis Slim which features Peter Green. It's already December and I normally get quite depressed in winter yet I'm feeling very up not been a bad year so far at all.
As I was leaving Berlin , I ran into Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother from the convict colony-funny who you can meet in an airport.
