White Sands New Mexico. I spent the weekend here - seriously if you want to clear you mind this is the place. Without trying to sound to pretentious it made me feel ‘Pure’. It’s where Bowie filmed The Man Who Fell To Earth - being there midday the sand is so blindingly white it is like being in another world. I also went to Mesilla where Billy The Kid was tried and sentenced to hang. Then El Paso where my hotel room overlooked the local baseball park and Mexico.
