The Chris Cornell Tribute Show. The best part was the end of the show, Kim Thayil plugged in Chris’s guitar and just left it feeding back. There was a lot of love for Chris in the LA Forum. Strange seeing other bands play Soundgarden, to me it didn’t sound quite right, I liked Josh Homme stripped down Rusty Cage that went into Sabbath’s Hand Of Doom not that a single person knew that apart from maybe Josh and I. Backstage there were more A List actors than at the Oscars. Pat Smear introduced me to Jimmy Kimmel who was nice.
Soundgarden were magnificent a hard show for them and bittersweet.
