Europe, some travelling - Metallica in Dublin with 80,000 people and nearly as many in Amsterdam. I came back from Amsterdam to see the Pete Way Band in Islington. I don’t know what to say about Pete now he’s decided to become a front man, his drummer Clive Edwards was excellent, truthfully I have no idea why he would want to do this. In Amsterdam everyone was in my hotel Jon Bon Jovi - Metallica - Eddie Vedder - Mariah Carey who seemed to me to float through the lobby with an entourage that seemed to go on forever. It’s odd being in the same hotel you tend to see all the crew and security you know but none of the musician’s, it’s as if they’ve been spirited away.
